Training in Pastoral Care - a five day intensive workshop for People in Caring Roles - facilitated by Lorelle Madden, MCouns, BEd, Cert IV AWT and conducted
4th - 8th April 2011 This course will provide the opportunity for participants to reflect theologically upon 'being human', and to explore the Scriptures for models of caring. The course will also provide an opportunity for reflection on the life and resources of the carer, and will teach the communication theory and practical skills which have been found to be valuable to the pastoral carer.
Other courses and workshops are designed to build on this Stage 1 course.
